Mission of the Division
The mission of the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at Columbia University Medical Center is to provide our patients with the very best care in the areas of medical and procedural gastroenterology, to train medical students and physicians on the specialty of gastroenterology, and to perform cutting edge research in the basic and clinical sciences relevant to gastroenterology and related disciplines.  The compensation plan is designed to support the mission of CUMC, the Department of Medicine and the Division.
