Patient Care

The Department of Medicine clinicians, some in private practice and some not, see patients across much of the State. Our physicians provide primary and subspecialty diagnostic and health care services to the community. Through knowledge and through training in general medicine and its specialties, we are committed to fighting disease and providing quality care to our patients.

We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the internal organs. The conditions we treat range from heart disease to diabetes to allergies and autoimmune diseases like arthritis and lupus, covering the entire human body. Our physicians are also researchers who work together to address the complex medical problems they face each day.
