About iGeneTRAiN

The International Genetics & Translational Research in Transplantation Network (iGeneTRAiN), is a multi-site consortium that encompasses over 45 genetic studies with genome-wide genotyping performed in over 51,000 transplant patients, including kidney, liver, lung and heart transplants. The network includes over 30 kidney transplant sites with a total of 28,000 patients (donors and recipients) already genotyped genome-wide. iGeneTRAiN is statistically powered to capture both rare and common genetic contributions to end stage renal disease and post-transplantation outcomes. For most recent updates on the consortium, visit our recent consortium-wide paper in the Frontiers in Genetics: https://doi.org/10.3389/fgene.2019.01084 .
